Design and realization of a wooden lapsteel.
This stringed instrument is my 4th project in lutherie. It is made of two different wood species : locust tree and mahogany. The wood pieces are all recycled from wood offcuts.
The shape given to the instrument is inspired by the Telecaster® guitar and the Gretsch® lapsteel shapes.
Materials :
Solid mahogany and acacia wood.
