HANDMADE LONGBOARDS

WITH MORNING WOOD
MONTPELLIER

morningwoodlongboards

Design and realization of a range of wooden longboards.

This project was realized in collaboration with two friends Corentin Fryns and Guillaume Charles. We have started the design and production of artisanal longboards in Montpellier, integrating certain ethical and ecological values into the project. That's why we decided to use an epoxy resin composed of 50% natural elements, as well as local wood species, such as ash, oak and elm.

Our approach also included the idea of giving young artists - graphic designers, illustrators, photographers - the opportunity to be known to a wider audience. By engraving their work on the backs of longboards using laser cutting, we were making a significant contribution.

Materials :
Decks in french wooden sheets ; gluing under press using epoxy resin based on natural elements.
